(From No-Bake to Now)

So here's an interesting story.....

This all started because of the Next Food Network Star. Yep, the show. Back then, I was obsessed with the idea of being a celebrity chef. I am a good cook (like pretty dang good) and I wanted desperately to be on the show. I followed challenges, kept up with what they were doing, even had my family critique me. And then one day, a baking challenge came and I sat there like a deer in headlights, I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO BAKE ANYTHING FROM SCRATCH!!

I could work magic on a box cake and make a no bake cheesecake look homemade, but neither of these counted.

And that's how it began. I watched videos, bought books, watched more videos. Found recipes, practiced, modified them, practiced some more. I even took a one day patisserie class at Le Cordon Bleu (I meant business, lol). And then, EUREKA!! I realized I loved to bake, way more then I did cook. That was in 2011. 


Nine years later, I have enjoyed the journey, as I, continue learning and watching my small, part-time, home based business grow. I am madly in love with the creations I've put together and I know, you will love them too!!
